There are a wide range of resistance choices and the foot pedal can be split which means that your exercise options can be expanded. For Pilates beginners the exercises are performed sitting and with the feet on the upholstered pedal. The pedal can be split and then used as single resistance and the resistance can also be varied by changing the spring settings.
